The EKKO Film Series

In a nutshell.

In May 2015, we took EKKO to BEA and pimped our goods at North America’s biggest book fair. We followed up with two days of Book Con, which again was one big ass convention. It was awesome, energetic, and filled with creative people, some looking for stories.

In addition to the Sci-Fi wheel and shitloads of candy, we handed out screenplay treatments to a few professionals in the ‘biz’.

EKKO went straight from the convention to an option offer, at which time we began commencing on a movie screenplay.

That didn’t go so well, and we regrouped with the complete Trilogy in mind, and thus went in the direction of a series.

Now we’re back on track and things are working out better than before. We’re excited about the Pilot, “Follow the Stones” and … Episode One, “Battle for Essence” promises to follow up with a bang. We’re having readings and speaking with wicked cool film peeps and moving forward with one wild series. If you’ve read the books, you know the stage shows are out there to say the least. We're planning on bringing the fantastical concerts to the screen, along with your favorite paranormal pals, like lucious Clarise, sloppy Bob Dustin, the Grande Dame Janie B, and most deffffffffinitely Mr. 5008. (What a ham.)

To make a short story longer, we’ve received a butt-load of encouragement with EKKO and we’re hell-bent on producing one killer series. Please hang in there. We need you. This all started ten years ago, and our goal is to see YOUR HEARTY SMILE when you watch EKKO from your living room.

Join the newsletter if you’d like to get updates, but be warned; they don’t go out unless there’s something to say. Just send us an essay about your first fifteen summer vacations, and … Really?         Just send us your email addy. We’ll take it from there.

Thanks for reading about our project and many many thanks for your support. It truly IS what keeps us going.
